Will it be obvious to others that I’m using Fiiber?

Fiiber is impossible to see. Once it blends with, and adheres to your hair, it’s like it disappears. It’ll be your secret – and yours alone, because Fiiber is 100% undetectable. You can style your hair, run your hands through it, comb it, your Fiiber stays firmly in place. Your hair looks normal and natural, thick and full. Even better news? Can I comb my hair after applying Fiiber?

Yes, you can! For best results, dry and style your hair before applying Fiiber. Best to use a wide toothed comb. You can also pat your hair into place and loosely style with your fingers. Take a look at some of the videos here on the site. You’ll see people combing and styling their hair and you’ll have no idea there’s Fiiber in their hair. You can’t see it, and the comb never loosens it.

How long does it take to apply Fiiber?

Typically, about 30 seconds. Depending on the size of the area you’re covering, it could take 2-3 minutes. And, you’ll get faster and more skillful quickly.

Do I need special shampoo to remove Fiiber?

No, nothing different. Just use your favorite products.

Will Fiiber run if I have an intense workout and perspire?

No! Fiiber will stay in place and is specifically designed not to run, even when your scalp is wet.

Can I use Fiiber by myself or do I need someone to help apply it?

Self application is super simple. You apply Fiiber by gently shaking the fibres over the required areas. When you apply Fiiber to you crown, it’s helpful to use a second mirror for extra visibility and to ensure all areas are adequately covered.

Can Fiiber be used with any hair type or thickness?

Fiiber works on a wide variety of different hair types from coarse to very fine hair.

Does Fiiber stain?

Absolutely not. Fiiber is 100% colourfast, it does not stain clothes, bed linen or your scalp. If the fibers accidentally drop onto a surface, simply dust them off.

Will Fiiber stay on my hair or can it fall out?

Apply Fiiber following our simple instructions (basically: apply to a clean, dry scalp) and it will stay adhered to your hair until you decide to wash it out. And, Fiiber is wind, sweat and rain resistant. Because of the triboelectric effect, static — caused by the friction of patting your hair (per the simple instructions) — cause the Fiiber to stay firmly in place. When you wash your hair, Fiiber will come out easily and you can re-apply, style and go about your day.

Does Fiiber change normal hair growth pattern?

Not at all. Fiiber is not a hair growth medicine or drug. Made from natural cotton fibers, it does not promote or slow down normal hair growth. It does allow your hair to breathe however — which is essential to hair health — unlike products containing keratin and wool that can further your hair loss. Fiiber will make your hair appear fuller and thicker, but won’t further hair loss or interfere with any other treatment you’re undergoing. Natural and non-invasive, the only thing Fiiber will change is your confidence – get ready for it to ratchet way up!

How long does one application last?

Will Fiiber work if I have lost most of my hair?

Fiiber will work on any degree of hair loss — even a Norwood scale 7, providing there are still some fine hairs present on your scalp. Fiiber works by binding to existing (even very fine) hairs and adds density so you appear to have a full head of hair.

Will I be left with a coloured pillow case in the morning after using Fiiber?

Unlike some (inferior) generic brands on the market, Fiiber binds tightly to your existing hair strands. Brush it, run your fingers through it, it does not come out easily, until you shampoo it and remove it deliberately.

How long does one bottle of Fiiber last?

Depending on the size of the thinning area, the 14g bottle will last approximately 20-35 days.

What is the minimum hair length for it to work?

For best results, we recommend 0.5 inch (1 -2 cm) or longer. Fiiber will NOT work on shaven heads – it must have hair to adhere to!

How do I use Fiiber and Minoxidil at the same time?

Simple. Apply Minoxidil (or any topical treatment) first, then wait for your scalp to dry completely before applying Fiiber.

Can I use hairspray, hair gels or hair oil?

We recommend hairspray to keep Fiiber and your style in place.

To use hair gels: Simply wait for hair gel to dry BEFORE applying Fiiber.

To use hair Oils – Apply BEFORE using Fiiber and allow it to be absorbed & dry first.

What if I don’t find a good colour match for my natural hair colour?

We recommend ordering the two colours that come nearest to matching your hair colour and mix the fibers until you find the right match. It’s easy to do.

What about Propecia? Can I continue to take it while using Fiiber?

You bet! Fiiber does not interfere with Propecia whatsoever.

Does it work for women?

Fiiber is equally effective for women as for men.
